Bloodthirsty

"...Yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service."
(John 16:2 NKJV)

These Words of Jesus go on echoing loud and louder, and their sound amplified down the ages, becoming more clearer as the veil is removed with the dawn of each new dispensation, according to the prophetic timeline of Heaven, culminating towards the greater and most glorious Day of the most glorious return of the Lord Jesus.

The latest global events need no prophet or a son of one to clearly understand that indeed we are living in the dispensation that Jesus prophesied was coming when He boldly proclaimed, "...Yes, the time is coming..."Indeed the time is here. That time is now. We need look no further.

It is not limited to a privileged few to know that Islam is not a religion of peace. Nor is it out of our reach to know the heinous and barbaric acts they carry out in the world today - especially in the name of ISIS. And the latest is their beheading (with knives) and shooting (with guns) to death (just a few days ago) innocent Ethiopian Christian men - whom they call People of the Cross, whose blood is crying out to God right now, from the ocean and from the desert where their blood was spilled. Yes, their blood is crying out for the vengeance of God upon His enemies. Upon the enemies of the Cross.

"When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Revelations 6:9-10 NKJV

He did not leave us without an answer and a witness. For He has promised:

"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse... Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord." Romans 12:14, 17-19 NKJV

He gave both promises; the promise of persecution and putting to death of His followers, and the promise that He will take revenge, eventually, on those who will set their hearts to do this very evil thing. And He calls His Church globally, especially those daily lead to the slaughter, to do this, to stand strong in faith and in patience. For herein is our purification. Herein is the trying of our faith. Herein is the testing whether the faith of the Church of Christ Jesus globally is a puny faith or a strong faith. Is it built on sand or firmly standing on the Rock of our Salvation?

Bloodthirsty, unjust men are right now rejoicing at spilling the blood of the children of God. They do it with a blinded zeal. They do it in ignorance. But they know not. They understand not. They see it not, that the whirlwind of Jehovah is coming. And when it comes, they will know it has surely come.
