Authority & Power

by Prophet Dr. David Owuor " 18 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently. 19 As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him. " (Exodus 19:18-19 )   WHY THE GODHEAD CHOOSES TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO MANKIND   THE SECOND REASON as to why the GODHEAD HIMSELF may often choose to come out of HIS Throne in heaven and visit mankind on the earth, is for purposes of bringing unto HIS people the REVELATION OF GOD's  Authority  and the  Demonstration  of HIS infinite  power . Just like Israel suffered a severe bout of spiritual  forgetfulness  on their journey to the promised land, so has it recurred to the present-day church of Christ on her journey to the Kingdom of GOD.   For Israel, the  pleasures  and  joy  of travelling with  friends  and  acquaintances  is what very soon made the

Fear Of God

by Prophet Dr. 20 The LORD descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain. So Moses went up 21 and the LORD said to him, “Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the LORD and many of them perish. " (Exodus 19:18-21 )   WHY THE GODHEAD CHOOSES TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO MANKIND   By all perceivable standards, order had broken down in the camp at that wilderness place, to the extent that frequent heckling and ranting at Moses now became the order of day. This act from among the Israelites, greatly diminished the authority of GOD that Moses was intended to wield as he points them to the right direction towards the

Revelation of God

by Prophet Dr. David Owuor " Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. " ( Ezekiel 1:4 )   WHY THE GODHEAD CHOOSES TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO MANKIND   FEAR OF GOD   WHEN GOD THE FATHER heard about the atrocities that were being committed by the citizens of Egypt against HIS bonafide blessed people Israel, it truly struck HIS heart with the greatest of pain and  brought a serious hurt unto HIM. It is because of that severe agony which GOD THE FATHER HIMSELF felt towards HIS people Israel that caused HIM to put in place a formidable set of modalities to deliver them from that harsh Egyptian slavery and oppression. Owing to the gravity of that cruel repression that even entailed the killing of the male child, GOD decided to come down as the GODHEAD and deliver them HIMSELF.

The Anointing & The Glory Of God

by Prophet Dr. David Owuor " Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. " ( Ezekiel 1:4 )   THE CHURCH OF CHRIST is still as much of heaven's solicitude as in the days when the LORD Jesus walked the earth, and taught men of common occupation in the noonday, in the marketplace. This beloved endearment is regardless of the current backdrop of embarrassing apostasy that is today being witnessed in the present-day church of Christ. This heavenly concern is largely due to the fact that the church still constitutes that royal and priestly bride who will sit at the wedding feast of the LAMB in heaven. For that reason, despite the degrading fall and despicable corruption that is currently ongoing in the house, JEHOVAH has availed this window of reprieve by opening heaven unto her.

Defending Grace!

by Julius M. Kwedhi "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." ( Romans 3:23-24 ) If I am preaching repentance from sin and dead works, and some Christian (with a twisted understanding of grace) responds with a rebuke for me to stop judging people when I tell them to repent, I have a question for such a person, "What does the Gospel mean to you?" I am afraid the new "Grace Movement" in the Church has missed the Gospel. I say 'they have missed the Gospel' because there is only one true Gospel of Jesus Christ. All others are false. If Grace doesn't begin with repentance from dead works, which the new grace preachers shy away from and rather finding comfort in telling people that they are basically good; if it doesn't begin with repentance from sin, in view of God's mercy, justice and holiness and righteousness, then there is no

Choose To Know The Truth

by Rachel Ndangi " I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live. " ( Deuteronomy 30:19 )   If you do not make an effort to know Christ for yourself, and to know the truth for yourself, you only have yourself to blame. You can blame it on Pastor, Prophet, Mommy, Daddy, friends or whoever you want to blame, but, here me well, all man will, for themselves, give an account of themselves before God. God will not need someone to speak on your behalf on that day. Moses said to the Children of Israel, "call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing." And He adviced them saying, "choose life." (Deut. 30:19). The truth is heaven and earth stands as witness against you and I. We have a choice to make; either to draw near to God and know Him more or

The Tornado Shekinah Cloud

by Julius King Kwedhi " Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. " ( Ezekiel 1:4 )   The Scriptures, in various places, presents to us, in the most magnificient ways the Cloud of God's Glory. But it is not so clear, if you are not paying attention, because it is presented to us in the form of God's judgement upon the ungodly. However, it is also conspicously given to us in clearest and startling details as documented by the prophets of the Lord, especially Ezekiel and Moses. In the eighty third Psalm, verse fifteen, the Psalmist wrote:   "So pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with Your storm. "  ( Psalms 83:15) The word " tempest " and " storm ", in Hebrew, actually can all be translated as hurricane, strom wind or whirlwin

Prayer

by Julius King Kwedhi " Jesus taught His disciples to pray so that they will not get discouraged, and so that they will not fall into temptations. Prayer keeps us awake at all times. " ( Luke 18:1 ) Through prayer, God has given us the power to change things; to casts out demons, to heals the sick, performs miracles. Prayer is our means of connecting us straight to God "So Jesus said to them... assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:20-21 NKJV Prayer should not be a burden, regardless of what condition you are in or may find yourself in. Once it becomes a burden you will not enjoy that moment of prayer anymore, for it has now become unpleasant. Prayer should be something you enjoy, love and always look forward to, for therein is beauty, fe
