By King Julius Kwedhi
My heart cries for my beloved land, Namibia. The land of my people. People peculiar in the eyes of God, yet trash in each other's eyes. Are we any different from Cain, that murderer who killed his own brother? We're even worse. Yes. We and all our leaders in Namibia are worse. We kill our own parents. We kill our own spouses. We even kill our own children. And in shame we shamelessly kill ourselves. We have not feared God.
Indeed there is no fear of God in our hearts. There is no love of God in our hearts. We are even fighting God in our schools that His holy Word may not be taught there. Are we even ashamed that we are fighting God Himself? Yet we call ourselves a 90% Christian nation. We go to church with anger in our hearts. We smile with revenge in our eyes. Hypocrites! Namibia is full of hypocrites who pretend to be good boyfriends but have murderous intentions in their hearts. God will judge them. Hypocrite children who kill their mothers and fathers because of money. Hypocrites whose ONLY hope is not in new government laws but in REPENTANCE & TURNING TO JESUS FOR SALVATION!
Namibians who hate God find false comfort in the constitution as it forthrightly states that my nation is a "secular" nation. What a pity. By declaring that you are a secular nation you are saying that you only live for this moment. You only live for today. You're saying that you don't care about tomorrow and the life after death. Such declarations are pitiful because they're not something to boast about. Such boasting is not good. Being secular doesn't give you hope, it only gives you more reasons to kill each other, to sleep around with boyfriends and girlfriends and to drink yourself to death because after all you are secular and you are convinced that this life is all there is and there is no God to Whom you WILL be accountable to. But we know that there is a God to whom we MUST all give an account of our personal lives. And on that great judgement day He will either condemn you to the eternal hell of fire for the evil sinful life you've lived (including disbelief), or He will welcome you into His eternal kingdom of glory for living and dying in your faith in Christ Jesus.
Namibia, you are lying in Darkness, deep and gross darkness. You stumble and you don't know what makes you to fall. You kill each other like killing cockroaches, even over small and pitiful useless things. You don't want to be told that your fall is because of your sins. A husband killed his own wife by setting her on fire with petrol. Reason? She told him about Jesus shortly after she became a born again child of God. And now recent a boy of 24 years kills his girlfriend of the same age thinking he was just inflicting little pain. Namibia has become a land of beasts covered in sheep clothing, where the person next to you may be your murderer to be; from friends to neighbours to family members to relatives and lovers. What more? Even widows are mistreated in that land. And my people, Wambos, are not excluded. The entire nation in guilty.
Namibia, I dare say are the Crete of today.
"Even one of their own men, a prophet from Crete, has said about them, 'The people of Crete are all liars, cruel animals, and lazy gluttons.'" (Titus 1:12). No wonder Namibia delight in stupid things such as evolution that affirm that human beings are cousins of bananas and monkeys. How long will you simple ones love foolishness? You embrace foolishness, yet you expect God's wrath to not fall on you. Can you bribe God?
Politicians are playing dice. Selfishness! What's worse is that even Christians are involved. And the real concern and solution to Namibia's plight is the Church of Jesus Christ. He is jealous for her.
The church of Jesus must stop entertaining sin. The church of Christ must rebuke sin, must rebuke sin, must rebuke sin and must lead Namibia into repentance and holiness. Church you have missed the mark. You are entertaining marbles instead of healing hearts. Church leaders are gossips. They're fighting for leadership positions and even those who don't know Genesis 1:1 want to start their own new churches.
"But God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are His," and "all who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil." (2Timothy 2:19)
How did Satan find his way into the church of Namibia? Through lies and deception. Stealthily through cunning ways and devices. And because the church has entertained sin and the deception of the dog, I mean Satan, we now have church youth fornicating. Church girls falling pregnant as if there is a pregnant competition in church (I know there is abundance of Grace with God. But Grace is not licence to sin. Grace is reason to not sin. ). Church boys and girls have multiple girlfriends and boyfriends. Because the church has entertained deception we now have false prophets, false teachers, false apostles, girls wearing mini-skirts in church, boys wearing sagging trousers as if they are coming straight from prison, folks arguing that they don't have to attend church service with other believers because they can have church alone at home. Deception!
You are in darkness Namibia. Look at Hope. Look at the Hope of nations. Look at the Great Light that shines in the darkness. Gaze upon Him Who died for your sins and is calling you to find truth, rest, forgiveness, comfort, trust, LOVE, peace, joy and approval and true companion in Him.
Namibia’s hope does not rest in reintroducing death penalty or in the cabinet passing some new laws. Namibia’s ultimate hope rests solely in REPENTANCE. NAMIBIA, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. THAT LAND OF DIAMONDS AND URANIUM AND CATTLES AND COPPER AND MAHANGU, AND 2.8 MILLION SOULS BELONGS TO JESUS. SO, TURN TO YOUR CREATOR NOW FOR SALVATION!
Further Scripture Reading:
I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands. But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations. We have refused to listen to your servants the prophets, who spoke on your authority to our kings and princes and ancestors and to all the people of the land. “Lord, you are in the right; but as you see, our faces are covered with shame. This is true of all of us… O Lord, we and our kings, princes, and ancestors are covered with shame because we have sinned against you. But the Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him. We have not obeyed the Lord our God, for we have not followed the instructions he gave us through his servants the prophets…Therefore, the Lord has brought upon us the disaster he prepared. The Lord our God was right to do all of these things, for we did not obey him... we have sinned and are full of wickedness. In view of all your faithful mercies, Lord, please turn your furious anger away [from Namibia]… “O our God, hear your servant’s prayer! Listen as I plead. For your own sake, Lord, smile again on your desolate sanctuary. “O my God, lean down and listen to me. Open your eyes and see our despair. See how your city—the city that bears your name—lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy. “O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people… went on praying and confessing my sin and the sin of my people, pleading with the Lord my God for” Namibia His beloved land.
