BORN AGAIN

Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say to thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3 )

Jesus is still saying today that "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." What does it mean to be born again then? "But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12,13). To be born again is to be born of the Spirit of God. To be born of God. "Whoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (1John 3:9)

Being born again is not being a supporter of a certain "Christian club" where you are just sitting on the seats cheering everybody up, and when your team is not fun to you anymore then you move on to support another team. Neither is being born again nor Christianity a club. No it is nothing like that at all.

Being born again is being born into the family of God which on earth and in heaven derives its name from Him. "For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named," (Ephesians 3:14,15). When you become born again you are being born into a new family. You are become a new creature... "Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2Corinthians 5:17).

However, although this is available to everyone, yet not everyone is actually a born again until he surrender himself to the Lord and is born into the kingdom of God. What a life. Being born again is the most beautiful life of all times. In John 10:10 Jesus said that "The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." It is a life of abundance in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God gives us eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ as a free gift if we only believe in Jesus Christ with all our hearts. You don't have to offer any sacrifices, you don't have to be a male or a female, you don't have to be a Jew, you don't have to be of a certain type of skin color for you to be born into the kingdom of God, no you just have to come to Christ Jesus as you are and He will mold you into a person that He wants you to be.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. " (John 3:16)

You might have met this scripture before. It is one of the most quoted scriptures in the Bible.

"For God so loved the world..." Isn't it wonderful, exciting and encouraging to know that the Lord God your creator loves you so much in that He gave.. for your redemption, Jesus Christ His only-begotten Son? The thing is God gave Jesus so that whoever [Including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole: - all (manner of, means) alway (-s), any (one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no (-thing), X throughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.] you are, regardless of your nationality and race, regardless of your status in the community, and regardless of tongue, if you only believeth in Him, [to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ): - believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with] should not perish, [From G575 and the base of G3639; to destroy fully (reflexively to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively: - destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.] but have everlasting life (zōē) [perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well): - eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began), life (literally or figuratively): - life (-time).].

You better believe these Scriptures because this Scripture points us to no one else other than Jesus Christ the Saviour.

Now this is the meaning of the word see;

A primary verb; used only in certain past tenses, the others being borrowed from the equivalent, G3700 and G3708; properly to see (literally or figuratively); by implication (in the perfect only) to know: - be aware, behold, X can (+ not tell), consider, (have) known (-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand, wist, wot. Compare G3700.

This is what John 3:3 says, Except a man be born again, he cannot see [know, behold, consider, known (-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand, wist, wot] the kingdom of God. You need to be born again for you to be able to understand the things of God and to know exactly what is going on around you.

Right now if you are not born again you do not know God. You might have heard of Him, read about Him, but that does not know that you know Him. Right now you are in darkness, tragedy, hopelessness, and you are hurt by so many things but you don't know what they are. You need Jesus. It seems as if there is no one else around you to help you. You are surrounded by wolves and lions on both sides. Maybe you are so worried to the point were even your health is affected (heart attack, kidney failure etc.), and you don't know where to turn. STOP! Wait a moment. Are you still convinced that there is no one who can help you? Are you sure that committing suicide is the only solution to your problems in life. Suicide however is adding more fire to your problems. It will send you straight forward directly to hell. What you need is not a witch doctor. You don't need to see a psychic, or a fortune teller, or an astrologer or a juju! You don't need any of those false ways. YOU NEED JESUS.

Jesus lights up your way. He brings new life into yours. He makes you a new person again. Remember when you were a little baby born into this strange world. As innocent as you were you were so beautiful, so fresh, so new, so unique, so lovely, and there was no one else who was born looking exactly like you from your DNA to your finger prints. That however was a natural birth into this natural world. What you now need is the spiritual birth into the spiritual life of God.

God new you before you were born. He sent you forth into this generation because what you have inside of you is needed by the now generation. There was no mistake in you being born in these days. Never wish you were born in the past or into the future. Rather thank God for being born into the now.

These should be enough reasons for you to surrender your life now to Christ Jesus, if you didn't. Believe in Him and be born again.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me (Jesus). (John 14:1)

No one has a valid reason for not accepting Christ into their hearts and lives.

DO YOU WANT TO BE BORN INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND BE HIS CHILD?

Then pray this prayer from deep down your heart and say:

"FATHER GOD IN THE THE NAME OF JESUS, I BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND THAT HE IS ALIVE AND LIVES FOREVER MORE. AND I BELIEVE THAT I NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN IN ORDER FOR ME TO BE CALLED A CHILD OF GOD. I NEED YOU LORD JESUS. COME INSIDE MY HEART. FORGIVE ME FROM ALL MY SINS. FILL ME WITH YOUR PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT. MAKE ME YOUR CHILD AND LEAD ME ALWAYS INTO ALL TRUTHS. I PUT EVERYTHING INTO YOUR HANDS. I BELIEVE IN YOU LORD JESUS. I AM NOW BORN AGAIN AND MY NAME IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY, AMEN."
