Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say to thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3 ) Jesus is still saying today that " Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. " What does it mean to be born again then? "But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12,13) . To be born again is to be born of the Spirit of God. To be born of God. "Whoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (1John 3:9 ) Being born again is not being a supporter of a certain "Christian club" where you are just sitting on the seats cheering everybody up, and when your team is not fun to you anymore then you move on to support another team.
